i installed a walbro 255 fuel pump and my car started and ran for about 30 seconds then it started to spit and sputter, then it eventually died after a few more seconds...


i changed the fuel filter as well after it died but it seemed to have pressure. hopefully tomarrow ill pick up a fuel pressure gauge.

there is also only a gallon or so in the tank maybe 2.

 

You must have installed the fuel pump wrong, the gas that the car ran on for those few seconds is the gasoline in the lines.

 

add more gas. check to see if you blew the fuse.
