Default In-tank fuel pump coming loose???

I seem to be having a problem w/ my Walbro in-tank... I never used to have a problem with fuel slosh until I was down to the last GALLON of gas in the tank (the reserve), for the first year and a half. Now, as the fuel gauge reads 1/4 tank still in the tank, my car starts leaning out as power cuts waaay out when driving in the twisties. Is the fuel pump becoming loose? Or is the pickup loose? Anyone have these problems?

maybe you screwed around with the fuel gauge sender, maybe you just have no gas in the tank? the filter on the pump must still be submerged, if the fiter fell off then maybe the pump is clogged?

Check your instalation. But I know that Walbros don't like an empty fuel tank. Don't ask why just telling you what I heard and seen
