just askin about the green arrow in my hatch
i got 92 civic vx. with a stock cluster.. i notice theres a green arrow under the fuel needle... what does it mean? what it mean if the green arrow light? just wonderin tnx

my girl has an eg hatch with the shift light also with a gs-r swap in and the shift light remains on even when not in gear.

When I had my CX cluster I wondered what that light meant too. Then I figured that since the cluster didn't have a RPM gauge it meant to shift.

Well duh. It's telling you to shift into gear so you can go forward...lol

Only the 92-95 CX and VX have the shift-light. The CX cluster doesn't have a tach, and the VX one does...
It seems that when you change your transmission, the Shift-Light circutry in the cluster gets confused. My friend put an EX (or mabey DX) transmission in his stock 92 CX, and the light still works, but the light always tells him to up-shift when he's in fifth gear. Normally the light does not fuction in 5th gear...
