D Series tranny mated with b series Engine ?
D Series tranny mated with b series Engine ? is it poss ? is there an adapter plate out there for it ? if so can someone hook me up with a link?
um, what d series tranny with what b series motor? because d series is cable, and some b series is hydralic, (ctr, itr, gsr motors)
dont know why you would want to attempt something like that, if its even possible, i honestly dont think it is possible, and dont actually see the point of it, mainly because of the lsd option with b series trannys over d series.

Even if it would mate to the B- engine. Why in the world you would want this? You can easily f*ck up the potential of the motor if you select a wrong tranny.
Stay B if you want to run B correctly.

Not to mention the cost of the adaptor plate (if anyone even makes one). It has to cost at least $500. And then you are getting a weaker transmission (I don't care what anyone says), less desirable gearing, and unequal length axles. It's just not worth it.

+1... d series and b series both came with cable and hydrolic transmissions, there are also transmissions for both motors that came with a factory lsd setup... and btw i believe that a zc transmission has equal length axles
... i dont think that the bisimoto adapter plate would cost that much... more like $100-200... IMO it would be worth it if you already had a zc trannsmission with lsd... im pretty sure that their gearing is even shorter than a B16 and would be a better choice for acceleration
