Ok, so I have a 96 EK HB w/ a B16 swap. I just swapped the motor in this weekend, it's a OBD0 motor, but I used my injectors and diz from my obd2 gsr that I took out. Well here's the deal...motor came out of a boosted rex that rolled about 5 times. There was no visible damage to the motor besides some skuffs on the oil pan, which was changed for a stock pan anyways.

After bolting everything up and getting it plugged up...I started the car for 3 seconds and turned it off...all 4 quarts of oil were on the floor.

Here's what I've checked so far....oil pan, oil filter, oil presssure sending unit, and tightened the oil cooler where the oil filter goes.
Put in two quarts of oil and same thing....all came out after 1 sec start up.

I'm at my wits end, I need this car ASAP since it's my DD.

HELP....I have an extra b16A2 short short block out of a 99 Si w/ only 60k on it...but I don't have an engine hoist to redo the swap anymore.

Suggestions????? I can also take the car to a friend and have a stock motor (d16y7) put in in trade for my b16....

 

Have someone start it while u watch underneath, somethings not done correctly or missing.

 

well..here's what I'm thinking. It's got to be something with pressure...what could make 4 quarts of oil leak out in a couple seconds??

Even if I put the oil pan gasket on and it was loose...it wouldn't leak out like that...

Any ideas on what hold oil pressure and could cause the motor to leak like that.

I took the intake mani off, no oil anywhere near the head...and nothing above the oilfilter...so it something at or below the oilfilter/oil cooler area

 

anyone have any ideas on the pressure thing?
