This is a picture of where my steering colum connects to the steering rack on the interior of my 1996 Honda Civic Hatchback CX......questions below...




Where the colum is threaded should it be pushed in more? It doesn't look like its in all the way but after everything was installed it all feels right...any help would be awsome. Thanks!

When I replaced my steering column on my old DA integra, it wouldn't go in all the way, so I left it. Worked well. Shouldn't be a problem.

take out the bolt. there should be a notch for the bolt to slide by i believe. push it up and line it up then screw it back in.

 

I'm in the middle of installing CC into my hatch and i have my cover removed and that's exactly what it looks like... You should be set.
