I am the owner of a very well taken care of 94 honda accord 4dr 5sp lx. i have puchased a F22b to dorp in sometime but i was wondering .....untill i get enough money to put it in what could i pidle with on my car and not waste money. What are some swapable parts that i could do while im still riding the F22a. i can already take v6 stangs and civics and stuff since i got an AEM intake. what can i do to really put some people to shame, without too much money, or turbo...yet.

Take everything out except the drivers seat. And if you are a little pudgy you could also go on a diet.

umm, with what mods i have (and the minimals ones that I do) im still neck and neck with a 2000 v6 mustang convertible (then again its an auto vs auto race and you've got a 5spd). The intake doesn't make a very noticeable difference, only a few hp. Probably just wanna get the f22b in so you don't waste money on parts that won't end up fitting your needs. Sit down, right out a list, is it long-term?, a contigency list, a budget, what are your goals for the car? etc etc. That is what I did, and I'm on my 3rd list in 2 months PS turbo is the way to go, unless you wanna spend a bunch of cash on N/A

You can run probably 8 psi max (I think) on stock internals. That is probably a 60-80 whp gain, but with the added hassle. If you're looking for something like 400whp+ then you need to start rebuilding your engine and all sorts of gadgets. I am by far one of the LEAST knowledgeable people about turbo setups, so I suggest looking at the Forced Induction forum for that. Make sure its tuned right is all I can say, dont get hasty.

Good springs are Tein and Eibach. Eibach pro-kit and Tein H-Tech are for stiffer rides, but with no major sacrifice to ride height. If you want it to be more slammed, Sportline and S-Tech are the way to go. However (and I'm not a 5th gen wizard either) if you're going to do both, save the money and buy a coilover kit.

It sounds to me like you're doing what I was trying to do, everything at once. Sit down, make a list of what you want to do with your car and do ONE THING AT A TIME.

If you have rear drum brakes.Maybe do a rear disc swap. With better braking you can brake later into the curves.
I think it would be pretty funny to see an accord out brake a mustang into a curve.
