Selling for a friend:

Hes selling a 97 USDM Type R..Body is in ok condition,has lil surface rust on both corner pannels,and has a rust spot on the hood as seen in pictures. 180-190,000 kms on it..Interior is mint.Non smoker car..Front lip got smashed..Also has the ITRs wheels for it plus the stock tail lights....Reason for selling it,guy doesn't have time for the imports anymore...Working to much...

Bad things about car:
Needs a new clutch(but still driveable)
Rust spots
No Cluster(owner sold too a friend)
smallest hole on the armrest

well it's 9000 obo. you can easily rebuild the car if you had time and cash
should be a pretty good project.

 

and thats why i wash my car and spray rust inhibitor on it every week

yes it is a shame. Nothing we can do here in canada. Thats pretty cheap for an R considering i have NEVER seen one in person, even in montreal. Oh well, i think its still better off that people stripping Rs and putting roll cages in . I personally think they're awesome stock...But yea, salt sucks.

 

looks-wise, its pretty beat. all that stuff is fixable though. and the high mileage motor can be freshened up a bit and Im sure it would be good as new. looks like a good opportunity to me and could probably talk him down a bit with cash in hand. and I dont understand why everyone says its a shame, except maybe the tails
