Default p28 code 43.

I did my obd swap, using all the proper materials ex. jumper harness, dizzy harness, and all properly heat shrinked. I boughta brand new 4-wire o2 sensor, and I am getting the code #43. Can anyone relate? Or have any informationasto what else it could be? (ps, code 43 = fuel system)

well i'll update, i bought a new fuel filter, thinking that might be the issue. I will keep updating. Also, I reset my ECU, no luck there. Sigh.

I have the same set up as you... I've thrown a code 43 for over a year now and have never really cared to make repairs to it. Did it start right after you changed the O2 sensor? It could also be the fuel pump which is mainly why I said fugg it.

There's a lot of threads already on this that I looked into when I first had this happen to me

was the car a dx? i am doing a swap too and almost shure having fule pump on same leg as fuel injetors has too much of a voltage drop across the terminals
take a look at the pics they are from mitchell

one is a dx main relay other is from a mpfi car most all of the sites do not mention this when doing a mpfi swap maybe its not a issue with obd0 but i feel shure its a concern with obd1 being a better system!
