Default FPR...did a search of course

Just wanted to get a sense of how many people on here are using FPRs and what kind you have, general price info would be appreciated also. after exhaust is done, VAFC and FPR are next on the cards and then power mods will be finished. I was really impressed by the post about 190whp on stock cams with just IHE/VAFC/FPR so I really have no desire to purchase anything from Toda, Jun, etc...stock cams will work fine.

dood, it's just a relief valve... so get what ever one you want, bling factor included. B&M is fine, right around $50 or so. $$25 or so for the gauge. AEM is pretty and anodized, and more expensive. whatever... doesn't matter.

and please... don't get hung up on peoples dyno numbers... they're just numbers.

not hung up...just impressed. People sweat the peak, I just find it interesting that you can achieve almost the same results with stock cams as opposed to a $4K cam job. mid-range etc. may be another story...I'd have to look a little more closely at the graphs, which is difficult now since the search is fuked up.

edit - thanks for the help Matt...bling factor doesn't matter to me so cheaper is better.

Ross I've previously used a Vortech FPR and had no problems using it. Like Matt said, it really doesn't matter which one you go with. My setup was a Vortech FPR and B&M fuel pressure gauge. Cheap, yet efficient.

Amen. I'll post my dyno vs. Vegeta's dyno soon.

Yes very true, plus if this 1 person who did dyno at 190 with stock cams goes to a different dyno it will be different. I dynoed at one place and pulled 170 and then I went to another with no change at all and pulled 190. Btw, my fpr didn't do jack **** for me.

I'm using a B&M and it seems to work fine!

Did you adjust it on a dyno? I did and when I raised the pressure it did nothing to the a/f ratio.

For some reason I have trouble believing, that you dynoed 20whp higher at one dyno than at another with the same modifications.

Ones a Dynometer and the other was a Dynojet 248. I Believe.
