they have this fourm so u dont always have to google everything.. i dont understand why everyoen has to be such a dick to anyone that has a question about something..

sorry i have no real insite to your question just im starting ot get mad that everytime i see someoen asking a question, someone else has to post a smart *** dick head answer (unless of course the questionaire deserves it)

I am not trying to start nothing with anyone or kniob or a debate about this or that.. I just dont understand why u cant either A. answer the question or B. point them in the right direction

it would be different if what he was asking wasn't something basic and simple... people can first get a bit of knowledge for themselves first. Then if they don't quite understand it, ask after that.

and if he's really looking for P_adams as the topic says, he could have just PM'ed him.

Think of the fuel rail as an intake manifold for your injectors. Basically the larger the fuel demands of the engine the larger the fuel plenum you need to feed the injectors. It's like building a water tower right next to your house; no pressure drop and you've all manner of volume available
In effect, Higher fuel demands call for high(er) flow injectors, which require a larger reservoir (rail) to pull from, which requires a high(er) flow regulator and the subsequent high pressure pump.
I make note of my saying "high pressure pump" since I assume no effort will be made to install larger diameter fuel lines, and you'll need high pressure to force more fuel (flow) thru the stock sized piping.
Although High Flow injectors will work on an OEM fuel rail, you won't be realizing their full flow potential (at high demand) without the larger rail.

a stock fuel rail will flow enough for most people, for most a fuel rail is strictly for bling...

Always Honestly, my friend. For stock N/A engines, they will not reach their full potential; and the stock set up with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator will flow more than enough.
When you go Boosted, you will need additional capacity available; and at that point the injectors and the rest come into play.
Put the money aside and get the rest when you cobble together the Turbo installation.
