Just put on CTR mirrors. Does the USDM non-folding glass fit into them.
Just put on some CTR's tonight, and as expected, the vision is odd. I wanna take my glass out of my USDM non-power mirrors, and use them in the CTR's. Is there any difference on the mounting of the actual glass of the CTR and USDM non-power?
there is no difference in the shape, but the plastic backing that is used to connect the mirrors to the housing is different, you have to take the actual mirror out of the black housing on the jdm and the usdm and swap it that way. I did it to my mirrors and they came out perfect, its easier if you heat the black housing and the mirror in the oven for a few minutes wraped in a towel, they separate easier that way because they each have double sided tape on them. and its easier to put the usdm mirror into the black housing if you heat the housing first. Pm me with any questions or problems you may have.
