CTR folding mirrors... QUESTION!!
SO I just installed mine, and I am really annoyed by the RHD glass... I can not really adjust the driver side mirror so I can even see much except the side of my own car!
(anyone who has, or has had these mirrors in the past will understand what I mean...)
I am wondering if the OEM glass from my USDM mirrors will fit into the JDM CTR housing? I held them up next to eachother, and the shape "appears" to be the same...
Anyone know if this will work, trying to save myself some hassle before I go pop them out myself and find out!

I'm not sure the glass from the OEM mirror will fit, but I know the glass from an EDM mirror (not UKDM) will work. Most places in the European Union are LHD, and they have the same type of mirror (just not power folding). So find someone selling a set of stock power mirrors on ebay.co.uk (and search for european union).

hey i have that same problem. im gonna wire them up soon. but i heard that some people take the mirrors apart and switch the gears so u can get the right reflection off the mirrors. basically taking the left side gears and switching with the right side gears. i havent heard anything about it..but ill put up with the mirrors just because its not too much of a big deal..and on top of that i may think about converting to rhd

Re: (slkleltlclh)
well the actual construction of the two pieces of glass is different... the "driver side" JDM mirror is not as wide of a perspective as the "passenger..." which for us here in the States, means that our driver side is hella wide and goofy looking...

You can not switch the mirrors from a USDM to the JDM. It won't work. Just live with it, get a broadwat mirror and call it a day.

Find yourself a member in Europe or the UAE (Arab Nations) that's willing to ship parts. These are what you need:
76203-S04-J01 - MIRROR, R. (1400R) - 24.24 EUR ($31.31)
76253-S04-J01 - MIRROR, L. (1400R) - 24.24 EUR ($31.31)
A whopping $62.62 plus shipping.
