everytime i let go the clutchders a noise then when i push it down the noise gone but when i release again der is.... can someone tell me whats wrong? is it the clutch or the tranny? pls...

 

explain "noise". What does it sound like? Is it when your driving only or when your just sitting in the parking lot?

 

1. Any or what mods on the tranny / clutch set up? OEM?

2. How many miles on the clutch set up?

3. There are 3 possibilities:

a. Clutch disc's spindle = worn out ( plays / wiggles)
due to "remanufactured/bad" disc , misaligned instalation, or hard driving style.
b. Release ( throw out) bearing = worn out.
c. Input-shaft's bearing = worn out

Possibility "a" is my best guess ( been thr , done that, had exactly the same sympthom)

 

its all oem.. i just ordered exedy oem clutch kit. im wondering if i install this kit the noise will gone... cause some mechanic tellin me its my tranny. the noise is when i parked and release the clutch. and also when i step on the clutch then put to nutral and rev hard ders a noise also.

i step in the clutch like 80-90% down and the noise gone.... i think its my input shaft bearing i will replace my whole tranny this time and put a new oem exedy clutch kit!

 

pls correct me if i was wrong....
