Are posts like the above really necessary?

Anyway, do you have the regular i/h/e done already? That would be your first move, then it depends on whether youwant to go all motor or forced induction.

Forced- Start getting internals and buying ecu parts so you can tune your own car instead of paying somebody 100+ an hour to do it

Naturally Aspired- Decide on things such as individual throttle bodies and internals..

IMO on top of I/H/E I would start getting the internals you need for boost, that by far seems to be the best way to go with civics...and no I'm not dissing the NA setups

Well whoever told you the info about i/h/e is full of it. It depends on your goals.

If you are wanting a super reliable daily commuter then I would say n/a or a good turbo setup, something not too ratical. The more power you go for, the less reliable, unless you have an amazingly good tune. Decide what you would like to do. I am still on the edge of deciding as well.

chipped p28, LSD, clutch, cams, solid mounts, short shifter, I/H/E.... that's a good start then you could look into a throttle body, bigger injectors ect.. It's always good to take your car and get it tuned aswell....

iono why pple want a good suspension set up, it's not useful unless u wanna drop the car (make it a show car or just make it look hot) or you take it to the track, I mean on a daily commute you don't need a 3k brand name suspension setup

it wont really matter when you start tuning it. we tuned a d16 with a greddy turbo today and started with a p30 map.
