im interested in a 92 civic EX, 76k miles, perfect condition, $3900. Does this sound like a good deal? Are all Exs vtec? Anything i should watch out for?

 

Too expensive...the book on that car in mint condition is around 3,200, which is till too much for a 92....yes all EX models have single stick vtec...

If you go to buy it, drive it obviously, make sure the clutch feels good, listen for any abnormal motor knocks, etc...

Offer him 2500-3000....good luck

 

when i checked the book i got like $4700, and the engine details didnt mention vtec , so is it or not?
oh yeah, its from a dealer also.

 

if you have cash flash them with like 2800... they should take it without a doubt i work at a dealer and i bet they have no more than 1800 in the car. and yes its got the d16z6 motor and its sohc vtec

 

yeah dealers are *** holes... they mark up a lot so go with cash with no more than 2500

also ... again check the clutch, any weird noises, make sure the body is clean i donno ...
