Default Autometer Installed, but idle is messed up

I just finished installing my autometer tach, and I set it at 8200 and then started my car, the car doesnt idle at 1k like it should, its goes way past 10k and also when the car is off, the lowest point it goes is 1300 ish, instead of 0. I dont know wtf is wrong.

recheck your connections, and maybe take it back out and see if the tach goes back to zero. But I think its your connection.
