I will have a set in great condition, actually 2 sets now that i think of it, if someone can tell me an aftermarket replacement tweeter. One that fits just like stock with no cutting or bastardizing!!!

the tweeter from the JL Audio XR series component set fits very well, under the stock tweeter grille.
the diameter of the tweeter fits perfectly in the rounded cut out part of the plastic on the backside of the stock grille. you can just use a dab of crazy glue/hot glue to hold it in place. you can then remove the stock tweeter driver off of the metal bracket and mount it back in the doorpanel.

When I contepmlate questions like this, it bothers me for a while, then I say to myself "could you actually *hear* the difference anyway?"
After that, I will just get whatever will fit and work cleanly OR buy some donkey aftermarket overkill part to do the same damn job.
I can't hear **** in my car anyway.....
