rpm is off!!! need help!!
hey my 1990 crx si with a obd0-0bd1 conversion with a d16z6, the rpm feels like it's off... can it be fix?? if i buy a tach, would that work??? because when i'm driving normally, that's about 3 or 4k rpm the rpm shows 5 to 6K??? any clue?? and when i try flooring it, it sort of stays at 6 and slowly trying to go to 7k. i can here the rev limiter when it's at 6.5 6.8k? i don't even know when vtec kicks in...
There should be a set of 3 lines and the a fourth a little bit away

The 3 together are for use with a timing light for the dizzy timing the seperate, line is the TDC which should line up with the mark on the timing cover, line that up and see if you cam lines up correctly, I believe with that motor you just match the lines on the cam parrallel to the block, or on my crx there is a mark on the timing cover

so i'm using the timing light, and it's on the forth line, should that be good?? the cam does lines up on the block or cover and there's a the cover part lines up with the red line on the pulley.
Well I am a little confussed by your last post, your timing line should be hitting within the group of 3 lines the middle would be 0 and either way would be advanced or retarded I forget which is which, the timing belt should line up when the cran pully has the 4th line lined up with the mark on the cover and then you cam should be level with the block, they way you made it seem is you had them backwards
