civic axles?

My friend told me that a 99-00 civic passenger side axle will fit into my crx. Is this correct with all the sohc motors for the civics?

I wanna know this also. can anyone tell me if it can be done.

i know that one side axle of the newer civics is alot longer then the ours,,but the other side is the same exact spline count and length...just not sure if its the passenger or driver sorry
