Hey, im having a strange problem with my 93 si hatch. I just bought the car 3 days ago, and the guy that sold it to me told me that he JUST replaced the clutch a few weeks ago. Here's my issue. For some reason, when you push the clutch down all the way, its nearly impossible to get the tranny into gear, and when you put it in reverse, it grinds like crazy. BUT, if you push the clutch 3/4 of the way down, the gears are super soft to get into. So whats the deal? I also noticed that when I get on it, the clutch seems to be slipping slightly into 2nd gear. What do you guys think I should do? I checked the fluid, and it all seems fine. Any info is GREATLY appreciated.

 

Is it possible they didnt bleed the master cylinder when they changed the clutch?
