How do I install injectors? Anyone with online manual?
Car is civic Si d16 motor.
Having intermitant starting problems and want to change my injectors because they might be clogged. I have a set of B&B stock injectors by RCE that was never installed when I had the motor rebuilt. So I thought I would change those out. Just wondering if anyone has some links to a manual and if you guys have some tips or stuff to watch out for.
Thanks

wassup bro, i had the same motor in my old HFcrx and its pretty easy to change out the injectors.
what your gonna need
-10mm ratchet
-fuel injectors
first take the 10mm ratchet and unbolt the 3 bolds in the back of the fuel rail. its the silver piece where the fuel injectors are connected to. NOT the part that goes into the motor. lol than after u unbolt all three of those bolts start wiggling the fuel rail to loosen the fuel injectors and either the rail will pull the injectors out with them or ur just going to have to pull them out one by one once the rail is off. dont worry about the little gas u lose/spill when u pull out the fuel injectors just let it evaporate b4 starting the car up. but yea when u pull out the injectors its gonna be connected to the lil wire connector so just pry off the silver clip and pull the injector off. when u install the new injector connect the connector wire back and put the clip back on and make sure that u have a new o-ring on it so that gas wont leak out when u start the car because than ur going to have to pull a part the lines and redo the ones without o-rings. (thats what happened to me
) but yea to make the injectors easier to go back into the engine put the other end into the fuel rail first and line them all up with the holes in the engine and slowly push down on the rail and they should all go in slowly and when they are all in make sure they're in tite and than when u bolt them bolt it down tite to also help prevent a leak. than your done its pretty simple. ill try to get some pics posted if i can.

Here's the manual for free. I would still get another hard copy.
What he said about the injectors is more or less right. You won't need to replace the seals if you're carful, but if they are gunked up, you should. Also before taking the fuel rail off, release the pressure in the fuel line and open the fuel cap so the tank won't pressurize more. That will keep the rail from dripping while it's off. Make sure those injectors are fine to use with your motor, why weren't they installed before? If you are changing them due to the starting problem in your other post, don't do this yet. I would be very surprised if they are clogged, check the main relay first.
