what trans do i HAVE AND WHAT will work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a 94 honda civic vx. I no this is a dumb question but what trans do i have. I have the 1.6 sohc v-tec. i also need to know what trans and clutch will work. IM WORKING WITH A BUDGET PEOPLE. HELP ME OUT. It is a 5 speed for those who didnt know.

uh... you have a d series tranny... most, if not all d series hydraulic clutches are interchangeable.
are you saying you swapped in a 1.6 sohc vtec motor? is it the d16z6?

any ways what i was wondering is if a 1.5 clutch and tranny will work or like a 97 trans outof a civic or 88 tans out of like a crx will owrk.
