I wonder who doesn't have a "rice" exhaust here according to your definition of "rice"?

My thoughts exactly. Even the stock TypeR tip is 3 inches and there's no way in hell that the piping is the same size.

Too bad it has that plaque on the side of the tip. Is there anyway that you can pry that off without messing up the tip? Get someone to host that sound file of the exhaust. I would like to hear what it sounds like.

i dont understand this reasoning AT ALL, if the tip is any bit bigger than the piping , its rice? care to explain how? and what exhaust do you know of performs better and looks good AND has a smaller tip than piping?

Either custom cheapo muffler or a Spoon N1 which is ugly as hell and sounds even worse.

Obviously its not my place to say anyones opinion is wrong, i was just wondering what reasoning went behind this.

Veggie's point is that you can stick your entire damn boot in the thing. There's exactly zero performance gain, and it plain looks silly.

Who wants a hole that's all gapped out? I guess if that's your thing...

I also don't agree with saying that all exhausts that have a tip larger than the piping is rice, maybe if it's twice the size yeah.Maybe the Mugen's tip isn't any larger than the piping. Not sure if your a JDM head or not, but do you believe that in JDM land they would say a Skyline w/ an exhaust tip larger than it's piping is "rice" if they even have the "rice" saying. All in all, it's cool for your opinion, my opinion is i don't agree w/ yours but i'm not gonna be some **** troll and say **** off.

...1)cause he/we can, cause this is a TYPE R board, concerning an exhaust shown to TYPE R owners, in a context to spark a purchase interest of mature people owning a TYPE R, belonging to this TYPE R forum... If that comment of a TYPE R owner doesn't sit well with you, don't hang out with TYPE R people...

...2)I forgot number two wondering why your still here if you're so dissatisfied with TYPE R material...

...3)I think it might be that a TYPE R owner made a comment about the way a exhaust looked on a nonTYPE R... reguardless of the fact that their are many cool people who don't drive a TYPE R, but get a lot out of this board without problem, while agreeing with the statemant you found so disagreeable on this TYPE R board...

I think it looks very nice and from what I've read Kakimoto R is a very high quality exhaust.

I DO NOT agree with Vegeta's opinion but then again that's my opinion and everyone is entitled to one. From the posts I've seen of his most are very good and informative (and funny -- the whole "I'm fat **** you" thing was hilarious).

But, anyways - the exhaust looks good

Vegeta - what exhaust do you have?

The Stock Tip is 2.5 inch's

to all the people that say **** off. RELAX. this is the internet where people can freely express there opinions from behind the comfort of a computer. and If i was there face to face. i would say it looked good. not because I am scared or a bitch. but because why hurt someone's feeling's in person. its just awakward.

So I think that any Tip that is bigger than the Piping is gay. My opinion. I am not a JDM guy. i think its gay in any aspect. it says look at me. THATS ALL.

A stock ITR tip is 2.5 inch's

My exhaust is a custom 2.5ich manderal bent peice. made by TopSpeed with Key products by SMS. and wanna guess how big my tip is. ill give you 1 try.

but all the people that disagree with me that Big tips are cool. instead of resorting to ignorance threw foul language. why dont you prove to me that there not gay. How does that sound?

as for all you that disagree with me, but did so in a civilized mannor

thats for you. because the beauty of being human is comming together over disagreement

Well, my measuring stick says the stock R tip is 3", not 2 1/2", which is bigger than the stock piping. That's all I've got to say.

:crying:

<--now looking for a Skyline w/ semi-large tip....Wait that proves his point that most exhaust w/ large tips are gay and it's hard to find a nice exhaust w/ a larger tip
It doesn't really matter to me, i just think my car looks funny w/ a rather small tip. Some may call me a ricer in this respect, but i would like an exhaust that looks nice. I am going to pick this up tomorrow evening.

Yes, it is rather "bling bling" but for it being $350 i can do w/ it and a can of semi-flat black paint. You can criticize my exhaust while i watch the finish of the F1 race where Pele forgets to wave the flag as the Shumacher brothers pass the start/finish line.
