Default Thinking about 2002 SI Motor in 91 CRX??

Is it worth it? I am looking for a newer motor that is USDM. How much would I be looking at for the full swap? Also what is the engine code? I know alot about the B-Series just not the K. Just bought a CRX its been a while since I have been in the honda world. If anyone has any other motor sugestions please post. Must be USDM.

You want my opinion? If you want a fast, reliable, economical, and toruey setup, YES

The K20A3 is a motor with great torque and a low, low price. With the Hondata tune to raise its redline its even better. The EP3 5-speed transmission with an added LSD is also really good.

Besides, once you have it all set, you can put in other K-series motors later if you get the inclination, and the A3 is good for boost.

I'm saying yes, because I know people are practically throwing A3s away for practically nothing.

If you eventually plan to swap in a real K-series motor, but don't currently have the cash, this might be a way to go temporarily. But if you don't plan to upgrade, you are better off with just a B-series swap.
