Fiber Images Hood, Crappy fitment. 93 EG w/B18C1 swap.
Anyone else had the same issue? Just picked up the car, everything with the front end seems straight, if I align it correctly over the headlights theres a huge gap between the hood and the right fender and it rubs the left fender. I think it may be warped also because the the driver side does not go all the way down unless I pin it down that far.
I don't think it's rubbing on the valve cover because I can push down on the hood and touch the valve cover. My hinge brackets are a tad bent but I've re-bent them to no avail. It almost seems as if their raised by a mound of solder or bondo and then bolted in, is this normal? I'll post pics of the fitment and the hinges/brackets when I get home tonight, it's pretty damn bad.
Advice? Anyone got pics of their hinge brackets?
Should I scrap this POS?

i bought a used cf hood from this kid for a bill, I'm having the same probs. the drivers side bows up like a bitch. Dunno I'm thinking of trying some hood pins. It warps like a **** when it is cold, but on hot days it lays down nice. crazy
I feel your pain, man. I also noticed the line along the passenger side is not parallel with the fender line ... I think this hood has just been beaten to hell. May be time to post a WTB for a straight OEM hood.
