Default Removing Heater / AC cables from climate control

How do they come off the unit with out breaking the unit ?

I was under the impression that they won't come out nicely... you can pull em out slow and pray but I'm pretty sure its suppose to go in once and stay there.

Btw when i did mine I broke one and slipped the other one out ok. Ended up glueing the broken one no prob.
