What motor are we talking about here? It sounds like you may have skipped a tooth on the cam gears or something,,Or maybe the cams just need to be tuned..By the way where did you get skunk2 pros from?

the motor is a jdm b16a with obdo pr3 ecu. and i got the cams from sum1 here on h-t (they were shipped directly from skunk2). i believe the problem is that they need to be tuned properly but dont know for sure. every thing was bought new in box

Its very hard to get pro series..

But yeah they do need to be tuned but make sure the timing is correct also..Stock timing is 16 degrees btdc..Between 14-18 is fine..

i will try to have my mechanic take a look at tomorrow the only problem is that he is only a mechanic and not a honda tuner so it would be kinda hard for him to properly tune. i am trying to find a good place in nj to get my car dyno tuned.

Yeah well he should atleast be able to check the timing..And if its off a tooth,,He should be able to fix it..Its pretty basic stuff for a mechanic..

As far as tuning goes theres a guy in bergen,NJ..Named chris (xenocron),,This guy tunes like no other..He does street tunes though,,but email him about dyno tunes..Check out http://xenocron.com for info..Im trying to think of anyother guys that tune hondas..THeres also greg in woodbridge http://GBRtuning.com..Theres not really that many tuners or shops that arent theives in this state..Im sure theres other good guys though somewhere..
