has anyone bar'd a japanese spec itr motor in a 92-95 civic... do you have to convert it to obd2... any help would be great

 

anyone know how to pass bar with a japan spec 99 itr motor???

 

a '99 motor IS obd2...

well i know that.. thats why i asked if u had to convert it to obd2.. i can convert it thats not going to be a problem just a little money but.. the main thing would be the diagnostic port.. i wouldnt have that...

 

Convert the motor to obd1 and run it as a GSR (? i think thats what it was) or another motor. I forgot what motor they run it as. Either that or convert to obd2

okay.. i think that might be hard because u have to run the gsr computer and the itr doesnt have the secondary butterflies like the gsr does.. idk.. i guess im going to all the bar rep up in sacramento to get the correct answers.. thanks for the help i never thought about calling for some stupid reason
