Default tein ss on eg

suspension forum sucks no one answers there,

i got tein ss on my car and there droped all the way but its not low enough for me is there something i can do to make the front a 1/2'' lower? and if i have them maxed out can it blow? if so then y would they give u the option of lowering it that much if it can blow??

and help will be greatly appreciated

Damn how low is that? I've got my 15's tucked an inch on my gc's and still have plenty of room in both directions. Not sure if it's bad on the shocks for how low you are. What size are your rims?

15'' itr rims with 195 50 15 tirestuckin about 3/4" in the front but i want it a lil lower i wanna see like 1" of tire then just the rims i think tein ss is 4" drop and i cut the bump stop in half to let me go lower but im still not happy

the tein ss will leave you with a 1" gap. all tein suspension is set this way per their instructions.

i sold my tein ss along time ago due to this. what i did to get the front lowered to a no gap was to remove the metal brake line bracket. that is the only way to get it lower.

i went from tein ss, to tein flex (3 " drop no gap all around) to buddy club race spec for the stiffer springs.

you never should have cut the bump stop.. like i said take out the bracket get a new bump stop and it will be a no finger gap.

i dont have finger gap right now its tucking tire but i wanna go another 1/2" lower u think if its maxed out like that i could blow the shocks?

it wont blow if you drive on smooth roads for the rest of your life.

But yes, they'll eventually blow... like mine did.
