Default Bought a WRX today

After 5 years with my 94 prelude vtec, i'm moving on. Today I purchased a new silver WRX. Brand new, 8 miles. Anyhow I don't get it until tuesday after work but I'm pretty excited/ready. I am going to miss the **** out of my prelude it is such a beautiful/unique car that I feel at one with. I sold it to a great friend of mine who recently sold his 94 delsol vtec turbo (drag2). I'll defiantly be in touch on this board and I play to post and all that still. There are a few guys who run with wrx's on here and/or own or owned honda's. Just wanted to give all you prelude guys the news

WRX is pretty nice, I like them. One thing you'll have to watch out for is the Lancer Evo VII coming in spring 2003. that car stock, will destroy a WRX and i like the 4g63.

I am enjoying the car alot, even having only driven it 30 miles or so last night. The salesman took me out in a broken in wrx, for a very serious test drive. The car posseses a very even distrobution of weight in the turns, and is the most predictabe vehicle I think i've ever driven. Acceleration is very nice, not a lot of power under 3.5k but above that it screams for more. I do miss my prelude a lot but I knew I was ready for a change after 5 years with the 4th gen. Thanks for all the comments guys.

my friend has one. I think the wrx handles pretty well, it's just that i'm not a fan of the tires that come stock. it took a while for me to get used to the car though, since this was the first 4wd car that i actually pushed (i'm used to ff) but anyways man congrats on the car, it's really fun (but extremely quiet for how fast it is) and once your car is broken in you will really enjoy it!!

I have 900 miles on it now, and i've been driving it a little harder since 800. Took out a newer lude 97+ base with atleast exhaust with about 600 miles on my car. I really enjoy my new car so far. I have a manual boost controller on my desk, that will allow me to achieve full boost in first and second, it's usally limited to about 1/2 or 7lbs, maybe a tiny bit more in 2nd. Anyways it will be held at a constant 15 psi when I slap this thing on in the next couple days.

I drove a WRX harder and faster then anyone here would do to their cars cause it wasn't mine - brought it to shop to tint! That car has so much more power then I thought! Great handling, and gear ratios are sweet! Good choice!
