<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by crexer &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">the spindles (knuckles) bolt up.</TD></TR></TABLE>.....Im going to do the same with my hatchback. It works out pretty good if your car is lowered cause the knuckles give you positive camber.

you should be cool as long as you don't have an HF or STD civic. Iv'e actually put both 4 lug and 5 lug type r suspension on d-series civic's.

It is possible to use the Type R suspension. If your car is lowered as much as wutangs then you won't need to worry about the positive camber caused by the type R knuckles. If not then any camber kit should be able to give you the negative camber needed for a good alignment. You don't need to run a B series swap at all as long as the car is an Si or Std (dx) with corresponding axles then you will be ok. The rear bolt up aswell just use the crx lower and upper control arms and toe adjusting links. You may also use the type R LCA's in the rear since they are the same as the 88 crx LCA's aslong as you have the appropriate shocks for them. Oh and for the front use the crx UCA's and LCA's and tie rods. Then get an alignment

will regular integra type r suspension setup bolt up to a crx, because i have skunk2 full boidied coilovers, but they are ment to fit on a LS, soif i had the intgra suspension i could still use my coilovers right?

Is that your car? If so... what kind of springs, tire and wheels combo are have on it now... and how do you align that?

not the front spindle/knuckle, but the lower shock fork bolts up. but, the newer civic/integra shocks are longer than the ED/EF ones, so you will either look like a 4x4, or lose 1.5" - 2" of suspension travel if you lower the car back to normal height - unless you modify the mounting point on the shock so it sits lower in the fork. For the rear, you will need to swap to the ITR lower control arms for it to bolt up. but again, the shocks themselves are about an inch longer than ED/EF shocks.

i'm sorry if I wasn't very clear. the 94+ integra shocks are taller than the 88-91 civics. you will raise your car 4x4 style if you use the integra R springs and shocks. if you use different springs to lower it, you will lose shock travel unless you are able to sink the shocks lower into the mounting fork (and that only works for the fronts).

You are correct, but no one here is suggesting using those shocks or springs. CRX shocks will be fine with what ever springs you can get your hands on.
