My project of 05-06 is finally coming along!
As i get closer to finally putting the swap into the car, i get more nervous that i will do something wrong. Well i want to route my coolant hoses/lines to thier proper places before i drop it in the car....
I am using an aftermarket TB, therefore i don't need to route coolant lines to that location.
I know the tube under the dizzy goes directly to the heater core and the stem FROM the coolant tube goes to the cooling tube, although some say the cooling tube needs to have 2 stems....
I still need to cool off my IACV, Head etc....
My thermostat has two ports, I connected the intake manifold coolant line to one of the ports of the thermostat, not being sure its the right place....

Would someone please EDIT the pics provided with drawings of coolant lines connecting the parts....

It is like a maze, if you take the wrong turn, you will messs something up, so im sure my fellow HTers can help

Can someone please edit these pics with lines acting as coolant lines in order for me to replicate on my real set up?
I provided pics of my cooling tube, thermostat, intake manifold coolant port and other coolant things.

PLEASE DONT TELL ME TO LOOK IT UP IN THE MANUAL, I ALREADY DID, WAS NOT HELPFUL.

nipple on water pipe goes to the nipple closest to the drivers side on the IACV and the nipple on the IACV closest to passenger side goes to nipple on t-stat housing.

I will get you exact routing of the 19mm coolant lines tomorrow.

But what about the coolant line coming from the IM? Does that just connect to the other thermostat port? Is it in the right way?

Are those 2 coolant ports/outlets the same on the thermostat housing?
What about the heater core?

 

 

so what do i plug in my passengers side iacv port plug into? since the other port on the thermostat housing is for the heater core?

 

im being told since im using the hondata gasket i dont need to cool the iacv....

 

If i dont cool the iacv wont it idle horribly?
Id rather jsut cool it, even if it atkes buying more parts.....

 

the purpose of the lines to the IACV is to warm it up during cold starts, not to cool it down. By adding heat to your intake manifold VIA hot coolant, you will be defeating the purpose of the intake insulator.

that's not tha job of the Idle Air Control valve. that's tha job of tha Fast Idle Thermo valve. tha FIT valve allows extra air to bypass tha throttle plate, raisin' tha idle, which would allow tha engine to heat tha coolant, sooner, to runnin' temperature.
