06 SI Dyno sheet, any others?
I picked up my 06 SI back in the middle of December up here in Nova Scotia, Canada. I have read over a few posts on here and have been wondering what other owners impressions are of the car? I have right around 5500 Km on the clock and for the most part I love the car but there is a couple things about it I am not crazy about! One would be that I find the car to have some fair hesitation under light partial throttle when the motor is cold. I have driven alot of Honda's and Acura's and have never felt anything like this in any of the others. The other thing I find is the throttle response to be slightly delayed when you get on it. I'd love to hear what any of you other good folks have found for dislikes if any thus far. I also have ran the car on the dyno... I hope the picture works! not great with computers!
here goes..

I must say I am happy with the output.

I just picked mine up on Thursday, barley has 320 miles on it. I agree about running cold hesitates alot if not running full temp. There is a bit of lagg on throtle response, but I think its because its dependent on the ECU and not cable as most of us are use to. The other thing that I have to get used to is the Throttle hang up, meaning it stays accelerated while shiftng gears, I like this you hardly loose any RPM when shifting. Wow those numbers are good, so looking at that sheet, looks like the Si is under-rated.
On a side note, is AEM the one to go with for Intake? I wonder if a VAFC or S-AFC would do wonders for now.

Well in a odd way it's good to hear that there is someone else who is seeing the same things with thier 06 SI. I also can't wait for Hondata to respond to this car.
it's weird....I've read about the "delay"........still have yet to notice it in my si......the only ting i have noticed is when i am releaseing the throttle to slow down.......at a certain point it is easy to jerk the car as the dbw disengages the throttle altogether

I dyno'd my Si today with something like 2350 miles on it.
And ... just like yours, mine "put down" 183.5 whp and 129 tq.

Now I just need to get around to installing the AEM intake and the DC header and keep my fingers crossed for something close to 200 whp.

the torque looks more like 129, but still awesome numbers for a stock vehicle

He ran the same numbers here in Miami, 184whp and 141 ft/lbs. His car did have a header and that's it.

- I have no pre-install runs
- I didn't much care to ask because I was enjoying the fact it wasn't a SRT-4

My bad, wasn't feeling well last night (140lb/ft of torque would be nice. lol)

not really ... the new SAE standard hp numbers just put the hp ratings lower/closer to the actual whp.
or else, that's what it seems like ...

Oh really? So they really aren't "ringers?"

The O2 sensor was in the tailpipe, but at least you (and I) get some idea of how things are going.
