Dented header!!
Did any of you have problem with lowered DelSol and aftermarket header?
I so far have two aftermarket header on my DelSol VTEC, DC 4-2-1 and Spoon 1 piece 4-2-1. I lowered my car around 1.5" and both headers are badly dented at the bottom.
I wonder anyone have the same problem as me? It seemed like the engine sit a bit lower on a DelSol than on the Civic or Integra, because ppl with same engine and same ride height in those cars don't have this same problem!!

i feel you man... i have a del sol also w/ a B-series motor swap... got a dc 4-1 header, and dented the bottom alot... also, it bent up, rubbing against my oilpan creating a squeaking nightmare!!! argh!
I have a 93 hatch with a b series swap with jdm 4-1 headers. They sit really low on my car. But I avoid speed bumps as much as i can. I'll even bust a u if i have too. I have only hit one speed bump that I could not avoid and scratched my headers. I went real slow though. Sucks though... Sad to say, I feel ya!!!
Peace

It is not even the speed bump that dented my header, as I am very careful about the speed bumps. It is the bump, holes and uneven pavement that dented it. What can I do when I see a bump on a freeway? Hard brake down to 30km/h to avoid it??
I am thinking about the Toda or SMSP header as the next header I will get, I heard they both give good ground clearance!!
