suspension advise????
can people tell me which would be better illumina r coilovers, skunk 2 full coilovers, or illuminas with h&r springs.... i want to go really low but i want something that to harsh for a daily driver in the potholes of ny, can i get opinions on people who have this???? i really like the skunk 2 but i want to get some opinions????
The skunk2 full coilovers are not for you..They are very stiff,Ive got them on my crx..You want to go real low but want a decent ride..? Sprint extreme springs would be good for you then,,They dump your car but are progressive rates so it rides decent..But I dont reccomend these for handling,,more for the dumped look and thats it..
the lower you go the tighter you need to get, other wise you will bottom out... you need to pick one or the other, and make sure you get new shocks too
for low and tight, get h&r race, for pretty low and smoother, get eibach, my opinion

it sounds like you are not going to cheap out, which is a good thing. do it right the first time so you don't spend more $ fixing **** later.
a lot of people run Ground Controls with Koni Yellows and swear by that setup. if your going to go slammed, look into camber kits also, and like you said, you might as well do control arms while you are at it and if you have the cash. don't forget a 4 wheel alignment.

Is there something wrong with the stock lca's ? If not I would just keep them,,But those megans are pretty good..Ive installed some on friends hatchbacks(They like the bling)..Along with uerathane bushing..You gotta make sure to lube them up though or else thet squeak..

you could be right, and nothing could be wrong with them though, and he would not have to spend them money on new LCAs.
