Default Brake booster

I just wanted to know what are the symptoms of a bad brake booster.

If you step on the brakes and the idle drops dramatically then its most likely the booster or the MC.

Check the booster by letting the car idle and spray carb cleaner around every seal on the booster. If the idle drops then jumps back up then thats your problem.

Good luck

Pedal is really hard, I thought it was the brake booster because I have replaced everything else . Well I have a 13/16 MC and wanted to know what master cylinder I could use other than the CRX one that would help out.

There are a few MCs that fit. I used the 15/16" from an 88 Prelude 2.0 Si, bolts up but you have to bend one line a little bit. There's an accord one that fits perfectly, idk which one though. If you are replacing both the booster and the MC, get them both from a DA teg (non-ABS).
15/16" MC upgrade
and on my webspace there are some pics of the MC install.

Well I've already got the MC installed, I did that a long time ago now it's time to get a new Booster, I'll see if I can get one off of a teg, I'll prolly just get it from Autozone, if I can't find anything really cheap on Here. at least that way Iget a lifetime warranty.
