Got a new IACV and Idle is still Jumping......
Alright I'm beyond pissed right now...I've done so much searching and trying different things on my car to try and resolve this I'm about to drive it off a cliff.
I do not have a vacuum leak....I've sprayed half a can of Carb/TB cleaner around all my hosed/gaskets and nothing changed the idle.
I've flushed my coolent and let it warm up with the cap off to ensure no bubbles are in the coolent system.
I've done the procedure to change the Idle, didn't help.
I got another IACV and it still does it.
Now when I plug the bottom hole in the TB it stop's jumping, everthing is normal. Where the hell is this hole going? It can't be the IACV because it works. Does my D16Z6 have a FITV, is that where the hole is going??? PLEASE HELP!!!! Thanks.

yes the d16z6 has a FITV
thats wut the bottom hole is connected to
AND its the most common culprit for surging idles
AND you completely ignored it
haha lucky 4 u its an ez fix, the plastic screw inside it is probly just loose..
it's the thingie directly under the TB,
take the metal plate off thats held on with 2 screws. theres abig white plastic screw in there..
make sure its snug.

Well It wasn't the FITV per say, but instead it was my cooling system didn't have any coolent in it and it started to corrode/rust.. Well the nipple where the coolent line goes in to the FITV was blocked. Stupid me. its's fixed thats all that matters now....
check the back of the intake mani to make sure you didn't accidentally pull off the cruise control vacumn line.....sounds stupid but happens all of the time.
