i just recieved 3 e-mails from local dealerships stating that the civic si will be limited to 15,000 units for the U.S. market?

is this true or B>S???

any info would be great.. i need to know if i should wait?

what about next year?
will there be an 07 model si???

 

When I signed for mine today, the people said they are limiting each years production number, so I'm sure there will be an 07. As for the actual number produced each year, they didn't know.

 

Should be kinda obvious they were limiting the production when you only saw 1 or 2 cars show up at a dealership each month... And judging by the markup that some people are paying just to get their hands on these things, I'm sure you can count on there being an 07 FG2 (99.9% positive)

Definitely, including an Si sedan.

 

Why would they put so much money into marketing, r&d, production to only make the car for 1 year and 15 k units? That doesnt make any sense. Come on now, there will be an 07 for sure.

Why did ferrari only make 349 Enzos?
RESALE VALUE.
All cars are limited in number, sometimes the number is just more limited than others.
its limited so it holds the value up.

you should be banned for comparing a civic to an enzo... in ANY aspect.

 

I work at the local honda dealer ship we've sold about 10 si's we seem to be the only dealership around not marking them up, plan on the Si sticking around for awhile
