hey guys, i just baught me an EK....year 98 and my heater is out, it just blows cold air....I need some help on what the possible problems could be, any help will be greatful, thanks a lot. Bare in mind, i'm new to an EK...so i might not know where some things are, if you could just step by step explain to me if you got time on ur hands, thanks a lot

 

check ur heater core, it sounds as though it's not operational, or there might be a blockage inside it

the only thing is , i dont know if you can replace it without taking the dash out or not. hummsss.

 

you can take it out if your gumby sorry to say it but the dash has to come out. Is that the only thing though? your cars not over heating or anything else. there are a lot of reasons why your heater wouldn't work. check your fluids in your radiator too before you decide to rip out the dash. I've found that for some reason if you're low on coolant, your heater will blow cold and your car will not over heat...weird but it's happen to me. so check that. If that seems ok then most likely it is your heater core. good luck with that. it's located behind your dash on the passanger side... up behind the glove box. Good luck with it
