Suspension question
I just acquired a 95 delsol with wrecked rear lower control arm and shock. I wantred to go to a wrecker to find replacments and I was wondering what pieces are compatible with this car. I heard 92-00civic or 94+ integra?
thanks
thanks
IIRC 92-95 and96-00 had difference length lcas. The 92-95 civics and 94-01 integras have the same length lower control arms so you will need one from those years. The width of the lca at the lower shock mount is different too, I dont rememebr which is wider. I want to say that the 92-95 is wider so you can use shocks from those years or the 94-01 integras. Someone please correct me if im wrong.
The integra lca also has the bonus of having sway bar mounting holes already drilled, so if you have or are planning to add a sway bar those would be my suggestion.

His del sol may already have a rear sway and will have to get one with the sway bar mounting holes. 94-01 integras and 92-95 civics have the same length lca with the same thickness shock bushing. 96-00 civic lca's have a narrower shock bushing and are not the same length so you can't use them. All integras and ex civic sedans should have lca's with sway bar mounting holes. If you don't have a rear sway bar you can get lca's from any 92-95 civic.
