1990 integra ls engine
I just bought a 1990 integra ls with a siezed engine because it was run without oil. Do i definately need to replace it? if so, what are my options?
do i need to replace it with the exact same one?
what are some good used engine buying tips to make sure i don't get stuck with someone elses problem?
thanks for any help,

thanks for any help,
you can replace it with a lot of things. pretty much any b series engine, whether from a civic, another integra, or even a crv if you want... theres a lot of hybrid options.
Unless you completely rebuild the motor you have, you will need to replace it. It can be replaced with the same engine. Or you can replace it with any B-motor. As for maing sure you don't 'buy someone else's problem', this is always a chance you take when you buy a used motor. You could try to have a leak down test. But this is not always feasible when buying the motor. In any case, the newer the motor, the better. And buy from someone who is willing to back up the motor. Even a 90 day warranty is good, as major problems will crop up sooner rather than later.
