would there be a loss or gain with using NA cams with a supercharger?

It would be a loss w/high lift NA cams, due to to much overlap

Get the stage 1 cams with cam gears, and tune the overlap out. If done right its has awsome potential. Why do you think a lot of guys are using type-r cams for turbo now days?

thats what i was thinking

how big can i go while tuning out the overlap?

I'm running ITR cams in my blower setup, but I wouldnt go any larger than that. I noticed more torque gains over stock cams believe it or not. If you run a more radical cam than ITR, theres a good chance you'll start losing boost as well.

Rmcdaniels is running some crower turbo cams, on his supercharged setup. I'm not sure if he's got them dialed in yet, but you can find him on the JRSC setup thread
