i purchased a rsr ex mag for a ITR restoration i am in the process of completing and the all around quality of the exhaust is amazing.

i would try prostreet online because that is the vendor i went through.
on a side note good luck on buying that mo fo due to the fact that it is a bit pricy (but then again you get what you pay for)

my transmission is out of the car right now. I am changing my flywheel,clutch, and putting a quaife lsd in. When I finish I'll try to record one and post it.

I love mine. It's nice and quiet untill you hit higher RPM. The fit and finish is great too, it bolted up nicely and looks great.

 

RS*R owns, i used to have a loud rice pipe but i got tired of that so i wanted something quiet i choose the EXMag its a great exhaust, it is really quiet until you get into it and even then its not that loud but it is deep and awsome. i can you a clip of how it looks and sounds

i was in the same situation as you waiting...but i goes thru this place DRIFTSPEED and their customer's service is kinda bad..it's the last time i'll order from them....they suppose to send me the exhaust this week but i doubt it becuz it's backorder like other places too.

p.s try Evasivemotorsport for 499 plus shipping...i think it's backorder too .

im thinking of changing my setup for this also... ive heard nothing but good reviews on it.

to the guys that are running the exmag... what header are you running with it besides stock???

 

RS*R Exmag is the shiznizle!!!

 

Just took off my magnaflow catback and put on the ex-mag, I like the exmag alot better because its MUCH quieter....but it feels like the magnaflow gave more power at the top end. cant prove it, but it feels that way.

setup is a stock intake arm w/ K&N in a icebox, DC sports 4-2-1 header, magnaflow high-flow cat, a jetchip upgrade, and the RS-r Exmag now. Sounds great.

Also the exmag is much more stealth looking, it bolts up nice and tight againt the rear, and the tip looks real nice - not too flashy, and just the right size.

basicly, exmag kicks a** for the street, (great for staying off cops radar) but if your racing your car, i'd go with a staright-flow design one....like magnaflow

 

ex mag is by far the greatest exhaust i've ever had quiet at low rpm's but when vtec kicks in u can hear it nice gains with it to. i

 

wish they made this for a 4dr ls..

 

you should check out the apexi world sport exhaust for ur 4 door my dad has it on his gsr and it's pretty quiet at low rpm not as quiet as mine but it still sounds nice.

 

Some people are saying that is quiet....but i've heard the sound clips.
And it doesnt sound quiet at all, it has like this deep sound to it.
I kno quiet, check out the Apex'i WS1 & 2

 

you have to hear it in person. its not as loud. the cameras aplify everything. like the valves ticking..... you might not even hear them in real life but they will show up on a camera.

I've got a TODA header and Omni testpipe in front of it. It's working well

 

cant say anything bad about the exmag. probly the nicest exhaust setup thats not custom
