CRV headlight problem, please help!
Hi, my GF's 03 CRV' headlights not working, I checked the fuse, nothing, and the highbeam works fine....just both low beam won't come on....any thoughts? Please help me out guys, thanks.
I can think of 2 things that could cause this.
1. headlight bulbs burned out - high beams and low beams have different filiments (the wire coil that produces the light) it is very likely that the low beam is burned out on both bulbs (since primarily low beams are used they almost always burn out faster than the high beam). Put new headlight bulbs in and see if that fixes your problem
2. low beam relay bad - there is atleast 1 relay under the hood for the headlights (I dont know exactly for your model some only have 1 relay for both bubs others have 1 for each bulb) could be bad causing the headlights to not get switched on.
There are other things that could cause it but either of these are the most likely. If I were you I would get new bulbs and then go for the relay. the relays are cheap (I dont know which one it is because I dont have a crv to look at but the most expensive is like 30 bucks and the cheapest is like 4 bucks on this pagehttp://www.hondaautomotivepart...OM%29
