Hondata does not do anything for the S2K...

for plug and play theres the AEM EMS standalone, or a piggy back Apexi V-AFC....

...and Greddy eManage (Which is cheaper and easier to tune than AEM and way more capable than a VAFC)

Hondata would stil be my first choice if they made something for the S2000

there is no hondata for the S....

greddy emanage is a piece of junk... the ignition tuning on it sucks and is not worth it....

and if hondata did have something for the S. it still wouldn't be worth it... and anyone that picks a hondata over an AEM EMS is smoking crack.... hondata is still a piggy back system..... AEM EMS and HKS v-con capabilities are way beyond a hondata system...

I never said the eManage was great but it is better than a VAFC. It's probably got the worst software I've ever tuned with but it does the job and gets results. Was there some other goal?

How does one call a System that totally rewrites the program on the ECU's chip a piggy back? They have a piece that plugs into the ECU but that has nothing to do with being a piggy back.

I've tuned all of these systems and the AEM is the most powerful and also the most diffucult to tune and tune right. It's overkill for 98% of the cars it's on and more exspensive than the other options out there.

If I had to chose between the systems based on results, cost and ease of use ther order I would put them on my own S2k would be Hondata, Apexi Power FC, AEM EMS, Greddy eManage, VAFC (I've not yet seen an HKS v-con to comment on)

AEM for the s2000 is the way to go

like said before, Hondata offers nothing for the s2000

Let me throw one more kink in the blind support of the AEM EMS. This is a SMALL sample of the S2000 owners but what is the answer to the 2006 S2000 owners? The DBW system will quit working if you put the AEM or most any other non piggy back. That said I have read HKS v-con is DBW compatible but again not seen it.

AEM, Hondata (Kpro), and potentially others disable the guages such as tach and speedo when you hook them up to a DBW car. This is a problem with the TSX and others as well.

Hondata may have the ability sometime in the future to Reflash the 2006 models but I'd hate to project if that would even make any power.
