Default vacume vacume vacume

Ok so i installed my zc head on my block. It has 272 cams in it with dual valve springs, titanium retainers, and ss valves. The problem is i have no vacume to keep it running the cams dont produce vacume till like 1500-2000. Is there any way to get vacume. Nothing will run with out vacume as you know. So im dumping fuel in and fouling out my plugs. Any thoughts? And can i run stock cams with dual valve springs?

I have the same problem you do! Its possible to get a vacume boost pump or just raise the idle to 900-1200! If you do raise the idle watch the cold weather starts. It could cause your crank and rod bearings to fail over time! I recommend the boost pump!

We can get it to idle but its got to be between 1500-2000 it is just plain craziness. Theres a knock in the block so i think we are giving up.

well thats your choice to quit or just rebuild it! You could change the cams. Just don't go below a stage 2 because of the dual springs!
