I dont know if the 7th gen accords are the same as the 6th gen but for the 6th gen all you had to do was hold the trip/reset button on the dash by the guages and then turn the car on and it would reset.

Put your key in your ignition, start the car and as soon as you turn the ignition, hold down the trip/reset button for 10 seconds, and it should turn off.

Hold trip meter button with left hand. Turn ignition on with right hand (no need to start). Keep holding button until light stops flashing. The proceedure is explained in your owner's manual. Why don't people look there?

Before making assenine remarks, consider all possibilities. If I am just now asking about an issue with an 04 accord, I probably bought it used. As will anything used, there is always the possibility that it doesn't come complete. That is the case here. I didn't get an owners manual. So, how the hell am I going to read it?

If you don't have an owner's manual, get one. Then read that sucker. It's for your own good, believe me. Who did you buy this car from? What reason would someone have for removing the owner's manual? Seems everyone who buys a used car has no owner's manual. I don't get it. Where are all these manuals going? Is there some used car manual planet?
