Default NSX Vtec Solinoid?

I know that the vtec solinoid from an NSX will fit on my type r head, but are there any gains from using one from the nsx?

Thanks, JWR

A VTEC solenoid is just a electric valve. It either works or doesn't. There isn't really any room for improvement.

I saw the thread title and I knew it had something to do with a question about a performance gain

Short answer, no.

Might be fun to mess with ricers and list a NSX solenoid on your mods.

Good thing you asked cause I was going to ask the same question.

Well the reason that i asked, was that I work with a guy that used to work for acura and he said that there is something different about it that people liked using the nsx one over the b-series ones.

did he also tell yo about how to mix our own race gas with 3/4 tank of 87, almost 1/4 of disel and the rest with octane booster.
(this is almost as good as the burger thread from back in the day)
