14b is a great turbo..I know you wont be making this kind of power but dsm guys have gotten over 300whp on those turbos..The t25 is really tiny..Both are good turbos for d16y7 though..

dont go with either....t25 is too small and 14b may be a lil to big....with the 14b it wont spool till around 3600 rpms or more. i would go with a t3 .42/.48....that will spool around 3000rpms and will hold boost till redline.

Depends, what are your plans? Do you like to drag race? Just want to get to the next light the fastest? How many psi do you plan on running? If you are into drag, get the 14B or something bigger (16G, etc.). If you just want to be quick, T-25 would be a good choice. You might start to feel it losing its efficiency towards redline... this is not speaking from experience, mind you. But I did a lot of research on the subject when I was planning on boosting my D15B, I found that a 14B would be perfect for high end. And D15Bs are a little more demanding than Y7s so you might want a little smaller turbo.

If you are really worried about it there are formulas that tell you, depending on engine size/efficiency, rpm range you want the power, psi of boost you are running, and cfm/flow charts of the turbo that can help you pick the perfect one.

Take it from the guy who is also building a DSM. The 14b will lift your head if it is stock. Your studs are way too weak. Also, if the motor is real old, you are going to come across some real bad blow-by, and eventually drop the number one piston.I just put a 20G on my Talon, and am going to set up the 14B on the Rex. If you plan on doing this, build the bottom end and get a better fuel system. These are a must. In the Talon, the boost spooled to 14 and spiked to 18. With a stock motor in a honda, you are gonna end up with a nice imprint of your valve cover on the top of your hood.

I guess to answer this, build up your car, and go for a 16G. You didn't list this as an option, but someone else mentioned it. It is good enough for the Evo III, why not a Rex? It begins spooling as 2300 and will peak at about 16 pounds safely.

14b is a nice turbo. I'd say it works well with stock bottom end if you are looking for 200-220whp. Also, everyone knows when you want to make power with a D-series is to replace the head studs FIRST. That is a must. Go with the 450cc DSM injectors too. And good tuning!!!! That is another must and you'll be happy with 200whp.

I'd sugguest 550cc and a fuel pressure regulator and/or in tank pump

Agreed and inforce the block. You can turn up the boost a bit then. COMPRESSION CHECK THE MOTOR!!! This is the noly way to be sure. Our opinons are just that...our opinons, that is without the numbers. All you need to worry about later is the wheelspin

you need 2 more inectors to fab the reset of the down pipe make sure there not stock dsm oil lines becosue they wont fit your honda. tap the pan for the return. find a bov, make some charge piping you will most likely need the resistor box to for the inejctors depending on the car this is going in and that should be it i think

you will be fine with the stock head studs... if one day down the road they do lift slightly you should replace them with arp studs

crxxor doesint know what hes talking about its not gona ****** blow your hood open and kill all the women and children in a 5 miles radius lol

a botom end that is in good shape will easily hold 200whp

and the 450cc dsm injectors are more than satisfactory
